Nicole – Founder & Dog Walker
Nicole Diehl-O’Hara is a lifelong animal lover and pet owner. Throughout her life, she has owned and cared for dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits and various other “furry friends”! At the age of 10, Nicole’s career riding and training horses began. She competed in many horse shows in Europe. Because her love of animals went beyond horses, she chose to complete an internship volunteering for Tierheim Buxtehude (German SPCA).
After visiting a terminally ill patient in the Chester County Hospital with Gibson, her Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Nicole devoted her free time to train him as a Therapy Dog. After months of training, Gibson and Nicole earned their certification as Therapy Dog and Therapy Dog Handler. This enabled them to serve the elderly, the ill and teach children how to approach and handle dogs. Gibson and Nicole also acquired several certifications from basic to advance dog training as well as agility and trust enhancement training.
Eventhough Nicole’s professional background is in Marketing & Sales as well as International Business, Nicole feels that running Chester County Dog Walkers is truly her “dream job”! Owning such an amazing dog walking and pet sitting company gives her the opportunity to be involved with pets on a day-to day basis. She understands how important pets are to their owners, and is dedicated to ensuring that Chester County Dog Walkers provides the highest level of pet care services.
